According to Galileo Galilee, "You cannot teach a man anything; you can only find it within yourself." Indeed, we can really learn through experience. Experience from daily life. Life is full of Physics. From the time you wake up, stand up from bed, take a bath, wear clothes, ride on a car to school, walk on stairs to classroom, write notes, all of these has Physics. So, we experience Physics in our everyday life. We can't do anything without Physics.
There are different branches of Physics. Mechanics, Heat and Thermodynamics, Optics, Electricity and Magnetism, and Sound. All of these has an application to our lives. For example, Mechanics talks about ideas like Inertia, forces and motion, energy, friction and many more. In our world, we are full of different forces. Gravity is an example. We can't be stepping on the ground without gravity. Another application to life is the importance of Friction. We can't walk, write or even hold things without friction. One more is Inertia. A tissue paper often pull sharply for it to be teared off, but if we do it slowly, it just unrolls.
Electricity and Magnetism or Electromagnetism is the branch of science concerned with the forces that occur between electrically charged particles. We can encounter it daily through the use our electricity at home and in school. We can't light a bulb without electricity. We can't watch on a television without electricity. We can't do Facebook and Twitter without opening our computers which is powered by electricity. And I myself can't post this blog without the use of electricity. Another good example of this is the thunder. It has charges.
Lastly, Sound is a mechanical wave that is an oscillation of pressure transmitted through a solid, liquid, or gas, composed of frequencies within the range of hearing. It is important especially in communicating. We can't talk and communicate to each other without sound, except having a sign language. We can't hear and understand our teacher explaining her lesson without sound. Another is playing an instrument through vibration such as drums. We can really use this daily.
To summarize this, Physics is just everywhere. We just need to observe our surroundings because it is just there. So, remember GOAL. Get up on your seat, Observe, And Learn within yourselves! ☺☺☺
